How Joseph's Dream Can Wake Us Up
A reflection on this week's Torah portion, D'var Miketz
“A dream which is not interpreted is like an unopened letter from God.” –The Talmud
You’ve heard the saying, “Two Jews, three opinions.”

In this week’s Torah portion, where we read the story of Joseph interpreting Pharoah’s dream, we glimpse the importance of dream interpretation in the Jewish tradition
Joseph’s story, which is divided into three sections, is repeated each year at this time, with each portion being read in turn before, during, or just after Channukah. By studying it we can learn about the power of dreams, especially now, when once again we need new visions and serious miracles.
